Dubh Lachapronounced Doov-LAH-kahrhymes with move lock-a ~ see her story below

Dubh Lacha is an Irish sea fairy, better known today as a mermaid. In Celtic legends, these beautiful sea creatures had many names but only one story: They lured men into their arms and then into the sea with their beauty and their irresistible songs. Traditions say that if a mermaid is captured, she must grant her captor three wishes. Like the genies and jins of the Far Eastern legends, the wishes they granted always had a loophole, which made the recipients of the their magic miserable.
