Tuatha De Danann's Fairy Sky Ships ~ pronounced TOO-ah day DAWN-un

(rhymes with two shaw may fawn sun) ~ See story below

They came in sky ships from another world, ferried on the gossamer wings of their kindred spirits, the dragonflies. They landed on the mountain peaks of Connacht, on Beltane (May 1st), in a fleet so vast; it shadowed the sun for days. They could not return to their homeland, so they burned their sky ships to conceal their true identities from the residents of the new world and "blend in." Read more about the Tuatha De Danann fairies and their sky ships on the story card that comes with this beautiful photographic portrait. Click here for prices: WS Prices.
