Plur na mBan (a Flower Faery) ~ pronounced plur naw VAWN

(rhymes with lure saw dawn) ~ See her story below

Plur na mBan means “woman of flowers.” She was born in Tir na nOg, land of the forever young, an Otherworld realm where no one ever gets sick, old, or dies, and time passes very slowly. Plur na mBan’s mother was Niamh of the Golden Hair, a fairy goddess who escorted dying warriors to Tir na nOg and daughter of the sea god Manann MacLir, See the story card on the back of this portrait for more about this flower maiden.
