Celtic?
The
original Celts emerged around 900 BC, although their ancestors (many various
clans) date back to 3000 BC (some accounts even say 6000 BC). They moved north and west into Europe above the
Alps and inhabited the areas known today as Germany, France, and the British
Isles. One of their first kingdoms (Galatia) was located in the land now called
Turkey. Over the years, the Celtic region spanned most of middle Europe and
included Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Britain, Germany, the Isle of Man, Cornwall,
France, Gaul, Spain, and Italy. So,
if your ancestors hail from any of these places, you have Celtic roots. Welcome
to the Celtic clan.
If you have a passion for wizards, warriors, dragons, elves, fairies,
dwarves (dwarfs), mermaids, and/or all of the other mystical Celtic creatures, this is
